Bush Responds to Russia

President Bush has responded to the criticism from Russian leader Putin. LINK and LINK He has also made it clear he does not like the rolling back of democracy in certain countries.

It is interesting that Putin is so angry with the US over the missile defence system yet at the same time has stated that Russia has successfully tested a missile that can get through it. If they will soon have a missile that is not effected by the shield, then why be so concerned over the shield? And would not the US be able to build a shield (to be aimed at Russia) more then adequate to handle anything the Russians have? I would think so. This is not making sense. Either the Russians are wrong and what the US says is true (that the shield is intended for Iran and the likes, and not Russia), or the shield will be capable of defending against all kinds of threats, Russia included. But if the later is the case, then it is doubtful that the Russians have a missile that will penetrate the shield.
